Kraft Cardstock Happy Birthday Cards
I was the happy recipient of two boxes of cardmaking and scrapbooking supplies. Mostly paper, alphabet stickers and embellishments. This is what I made the day after I received them. I already had the kraft cardstock, inks, stamps and embossing folders. The inside of the cards are to the right.
I made the cards with "Party" hanging from the yarn or ribbon first and wanted something different and came up with this.
Found a NEW use for my gift tag dies!
Just a regular tag and the die "Celebrate". "Let's Party" was two sided paper so I cut out the front of the card so you could see the backside on the inside left.
Wanted the charmed alphabet die forever but bought it for a song and shipping a few weeks ago. I think "Party" looks so cute as a banner. Inside left is backside of Happy Day.
Love the little gift tag on this one. Used my ScorPal to crease the ends. Tag was creased in the middle as it was cut.
Finally decided that this alphabet works MUCH better with ribbon than with yarn.
This was the first one I made, didn't stay around long, one of Jeff's friends needed a birthday card for his brother THAT day and it was gone! He told me the whole family loved it.

One of my birthday stamp sets seemed tailor made for this! The Happy Birthday, Hats off to You! and the hat on the inside came with the "My Sentiments Exactly" set.
