Dachshund die & stamp!

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Dog Park Dachshund stamp & die.

New and improved cone! Went through my packing material in the garage and found a thicker foamy bag that is perfect!

Large balloon dog is Avery Elle, the other one, my friend Maria sent to me! Had NO idea they'd be so perfect together. I usually never do cards with ONLY stamping, usually a die cut somewhere! But this was perfect with only stamping.

I saw a card one time that had a dog leaping up to try and catch a balloon and thought it would be a PERFECT design for a Dachshund. Short little guys are always trying to leap up catch things when they shouldn't. Bad for their long little backs. But unfortunately, no dies to be found and not really any stamps. I did get one stamp that the Dachshund standing straight up but it just wasn't right for this.

I finally remember "My Cute Stamps" and wondered if Holly ever came out with the penguin stamp she told me about. Found out that she was closing the stamp part of her business and everything was on clearance. Some of the other stamps I had intended to get were already sold out but was able to snag the penguin set and the stamp set with the Dachshund, balloon and bone.

Wasn't until a few days after it arrived that I suddenly realized that I had everything needed in this set except the words for the card I had in mind! And my Copic marker skills were good enough to color it! I could have NEVER done this with my pencils. I've got a ways to go before I'm really good with Copics but you can quickly learn to do a decent job on a cartoon figure. This card went to my cousin.

Another Flip-it card, this one for Mother's Day!

 I FINALLY got a Flip-it Card Die!
AND the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Dog Park die and stamp set.
I had problems with the die CUTTING the creases rather than just creasing.
Spent some time on the phone with Sizzix and we got a solution! Works great now. I mention that because on THIS card, had to give it to her the next day. Jeff gave me HOURS of notice :) ! Anyway, I used the Easter ribbon that just said Spring on it to hold the card together. I think it added a lot to the card!
I bought the QuicKutz graduation die 7 years ago to put on a penguin that I was using on a graduation card. Comes with two tiny hats, worked great with this little Dachshund. The butterfly was a punch, all my die butterflies were too big.

Birthday card for a sweet co-worker who was born on Valentine's Day AND loves Dachshunds!

I think the idea for this was in my Cardmaker Magazine! The card fits in the envelope flat and you pull it out with the ribbon!

I bought a card that had a drawing of a fairly realistic Dachshund wearing a hat and boots. I just HAD to get it just for my Dachshund card collection and see if I could come close to duplicating it! Nothing like the other card BUT I got my paper doll dies hat (on sideways) and the boots and made it work!

Going away card for someone who has Dachshunds.

More Dachshund birthday and Christmas Cards!
