Birthday Cards

More birthday cards will be added as I make them!

Doily Birthday Cards added March 29, 2015

Doily Embossing Folder is part of a QuicKutz 2 pack by WRMK
Labels are Thinlits Fancy Labels from Sizzix that match the Fancy Label Flipit Card.

The two doily labels are part of a set of 3 doily dies from QuicKutz by WRMK.
If you notice that the opposite sides have an extra big loop for ribbon or yarn.
This embossing folder is the other one in the 2 pack mentioned above. It only embosses on ONE side and in the other direction. I just ran it through twice and flipped the direction by barely putting the paper inside the folder and running the length sideways.
Cork was cut from a cork sheet,
both the Cheers and bottle dies are Ellison/Sizzix Sizzlit dies.

The glass below is part of  a QuicKutz WRMK die set.

Inside says "Wishes". Die is a QuicKutz WRMK tag die that I ground down the hole because it makes a fantastic label.

This is an example of using the negative "leftovers" when I cut out "Happy Birthday".
Of course, one is white and the other red but you get the idea! The one on the right shows you how the die is set up. I just cut the original Happy Birthday out on a larger piece so that I could come back and line up the cookie cutter (outline die) square and cut out the scalloped rectangle and emboss the edges.

The one below, I just used deckle scissors and cut out the negative for a different Happy Birthday die. As you can see, the one on the left, I didn't use the "Happy" part, changed it up a bit by using another die that was "Winter Wishes". I really like that ice cream cone embossing die. It is an old AccuCut Zip'eSnap die that cuts and embosses at the same time. I think they came out with that before Sizzix came out with their version.

The flowers to the left are attached with eyelets as is the Happy Birthday to the right. This was BEFORE I found about about Aleene's ACID FREE Tacky Glue! I'm STILL going to use eyelets though.
